RTP x AREAA SF-Pen | [Re]Building Day Project Day 1

Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) works to ensure safe and healthy homes and community facilities for our neighbors- in-need throughout the San Francisco Peninsula, with no cost repairs and renovations for qualified recipients. On our Rebuilding Days in the spring and fall, we work with sponsoring organizations to address larger, volunteer team-friendly repair needs in San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County.

A senior living alone, Ms. Hui has lived in her single-family home since 1993. Unable to address multiple repair and modification needs at her home on her own, she has reached out to RTP for assistance. RTP has addressed these needs - including pest control, electrical concerns, painting, and miscellaneous carpentry items ahead of another volunteer day.

AREAA volunteers are requested to assist with fence repair on Saturday 4/26 in the home's backyard, focused on demo.

(Note, a subsequent team will help rebuild the fence the following week.)

Volunteers should come dressed for outdoor work, including closed-toe shoes. RTP will provide t-shirts, water throughout the day, tools, and all necessary PPE (e.g., gloves, goggles, sunscreen).
